What information Westwood Consulting collects when you visit this website, and how that information is used. Written in plain English because legal jargon helps nobody.

Westwood Consulting is a personal venture operated by Kevin Westwood, based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. This site is hosted on GitHub Pages and is the public-facing front for my coaching and speaking work. Contact: kwestwood186@gmail.com.
This policy applies only to your visit to this website (westwoodconsulting.ca). It does not cover 1:1 coaching engagements, which are governed by a separate agreement we'll discuss before you book a paid session.
I use Google Analytics 4 to track aggregate visit data: which pages get viewed, approximate location (country/region only), browser type, device type, and time on page. This data is anonymized and is not used to identify individual visitors. Google may set cookies on your device to support this tracking.
If you'd rather not be tracked, you can install a Google Analytics opt-out browser extension, use a privacy-focused browser, or block third-party cookies in your browser settings.
If you email me through any link on this site, you're voluntarily sending me your email address and whatever you choose to write in your message. I read those emails and reply to them. I don't add you to any mailing list and I don't share your email with anyone.
If you book a free consultation or paid coaching session through one of the Google Appointment Schedule links on this site, Google collects your name, email, and any answers you provide in the booking form, and shares that information with me so I can prepare for our session. Your booking data is governed by Google's privacy policy — see policies.google.com/privacy.

The only cookies this site sets are from Google Analytics, used to track aggregate visitor behavior. None are used for advertising. You can block them in your browser settings or use an extension like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger.
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default. Emails you send me are kept in my Gmail inbox indefinitely unless you ask me to delete them. Booking data in Google Calendar is retained until I manually delete the calendar event.
This site is intended for working-age adults and is not directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes meaningfully, I'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and flag significant changes in the site footer or homepage for at least 30 days.
